With more than 35 years experience, working in a wide range of manufacturing industries, he has been employed in both line and project management roles and a variety of key support functions. During his career he has worked directly for several multinational companies, but since 1999, he has been self-employed as a free-lance consultant. A Chartered Engineer since 1978, he holds an ONC in Mechanical Engineering from Bromsgrove College and a B.Sc. (Hons) in Production Engineering from the University of Aston in Birmingham. He is a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology, a founding Fellow of the Chartered Quality Institute and a Chartered Quality Professional. Following completion of a Student Engineering Apprenticeship with British Leyland he has undertaken a wide range of specialised and general management training including the management and implementation of Quality Improvement processes (Crosby and Juran). Based in South Cambridgeshire he is ideally located to provide services both within the UK (particularly the Midlands, East Anglia and the South East of England) and internationally via Stanstead Airport.
